The Central Library will provide the services as follows.

 

Depending on the situation, there is a possibility that the contents of the services will be changed at any time in accordance with changes in the activity policy level established by Nagoya University.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Admission  [No changes]

 Gifu University members (students, faculty and staff members), who received the library card.

 * However, please refrain from entering if you have any subjective symptoms such as fever.

 * In order to prevent infection, please wear a mask, use disinfectant when entering the building.
      We really encourage frequent hand washing, and practice social distance.

 * In order to use Nagoya University Library, you need a library card issued by Nagoya University Library.

 * It takes some time to issue the library card, so please apply for the card via Gifu University Library as soon as possible.

 Facilities for group study and discussion, and PC seats are not available (excluding classes).

 Private research rooms and AV booths available. Keys for the private research rooms and AV booths will be rented using the key lending device (library card required).

Mutual library use for member of Nagoya & Gifu Universities

In April 2020, Nagoya University and Gifu University became member universities of the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System through corporate integration.
Consequently, the Nagoya University Library (Central Library and Medical Library) is available now for students, faculty and staff members of Gifu University under the same conditions as students, faculty and staff members of Nagoya University (except for some services).

 

The procedure of issuing the library card for Nagoya University Library started from June 4th, 2020 (Thu.) at Gifu University Library.

And it had been possible to visit and use the Nagoya University Library (except Medical Library) from Sept. 7th, 2020 (Mon.) for students, faculty and staff members of Gifu University.
