Various service suspensions due to library system replacement

The Nagoya University Library will replace the library system during the New Year holidays.
During that period, various services such as Nagoya University Library Search (OPAC) will be suspended.
The contents and period (planned) of the service suspension are as follows.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this issue.

* The service suspension period may change depending on the maintenance status.

 Starting from Dec. 27(Fri)9:00, access to ILL application history prior to March 2022 will no longer be available. If you need to retain this information, please make sure to save your records by Dec. 23(Mon)9:00.

*This notice was updated on Nov. 25(Mon) to include information on "Borrowing and Returning Materials" and "Acceptance Inspection of Books and Journals."

1. Borrowing and Returning Materials
 From Dec. 23 (Mon) to Dec. 27 (Fri)9:00, the automated borrowing and returning machines will be unavailable.
 For borrowing, please complete the procedures at the counter during opening hours.
 For returns, please use the book drop located at the entrance or in front of the counter.

 

2.Acceptance Inspection of Books and Journals
 If you wish to receive materials that have undergone acceptance inspection within this year, please bring the materials and relevant documents to the library by Dec. 20 (Fri) 

 

3.Loan request and Copy request on OPAC*
 Dec. 20 (Fri) 15:00 - Dec. 27 (Fri) 9:00 

 *If you wish to obtain requested documents within this year, please submit your request by Friday, December 6th.

 * For applications over Dec 19, documents may be delivered at the beginning of the year of 2025.

 
4. Library website
 Starts on Dec. 23 (Mon) (access will be available in order within a few days thereafter)
 * Medical Library website is available.
