In April 2020, Nagoya University and Gifu University became member universities of the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System through corporate integration.

Consequently, the Gifu University Library (Central Library and Medical Library (Except the Library of Health Sciences)) was available for students, faculty and staff members of Nagoya University under the same conditions as students, faculty and staff members of Gifu University (except for some services).

It was late to start due to changes in the services for dealing with the Novel Coronavirus disease, now it is possible to visit and use the Nagoya University Library (Central Library) for students, faculty and staff members of Gifu University from Sept. 7th, 2020 (Mon.).

In order to use Nagoya University Library, you need a library card issued by Nagoya University Library. It takes some time to issue the library card, so please apply for the card as soon as possible.

The procedure of issuing the library card for Nagoya University Library started from June 4th, 2020 (Thu.) at Gifu University Library.

Please note that services provided by Central Library will be changed response to the changed level of “Specific Activity Guidelines” according to the Guidelines for Activities at Nagoya University During the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic.
