Mar-14 [E-Services] Change of authentication IDs for off-campus access to e-resources
Change from Nagoya University ID to multi-factor authentication using THERS account on Mar 14
From 14 March 2023, the authentication ID for the authentication system used in Remote Access : Off Campus Web Services was changed from the Nagoya University ID to a THERS account.
Emeritus professors are required to apply in advance to the Information and Communications to obtain an account.
It may take more than two weeks for an account to be issued, so please apply as soon as possible.
<Notes>
- Currently enrolled students and faculty members can obtain a THERS account using their Nagoya University ID.
- Even if you have an Nagoya University ID, you need to apply separately if you are a professor emeritus. It may take more than two weeks for a new account to be issued, so please apply as soon as possible.
- At the time of the switchover, multi-factor authentication will still be used for authentication. If you are already using the authentication application in Office365, you can continue to use it. If you are using it for the first time, please refer to the following link for more details.
