We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support.

The Japan Link Center (JaLC), which registers and manages DOI, has decided to make metadata open.
Metadata will be made available to third parties, regardless of the purpose or form of use.
The use of metadata refers, for example, to the reproduction and distribution of metadata published (provided) on the JaLC system to third parties, as well as the posting of such metadata on the Internet.
This policy change will allow metadata to be more indexed, which will increase links and access to DOI-registered content. In addition, the distribution of metadata will lead to the creation of new services by creating new ways to use metadata that were not previously envisioned.

Main elements of Metadata to be opened
・Bibliographic data (title, author, journal name, volume/issue, start page, ISBN, ISSN, etc.)
・URI
・Citation information such as references and citation data
・Abstract

This means that the abstracts of contents with DOI that are newly registered or updated in NAGOYA repository after April 2022 will be provided through JaLC with permission to reproduct and distribute them to third parties.

If you have any problems with the use of your abstract, please let us know.
If you have any other questions, please contact us.
