Nagoya University Medical Museum will be hosting a special lecture entitled “The Hidden Power of ‘Kanpou’ (Chinese Medicine as Adopted and Practiced in Japan)” by Dr. Juichi Sato, M.D., on Monday, October 16, 2017.

 

This lecture is for the Nagoya University community and the general public as well.

It provides an opportunity to get acquainted with Japan’s traditional alternative to modern western medicine.

 

 

What: “The Hidden Power of Kanpou (Chinese Medicine as Adopted and Practiced in Japan)”

Who: Dr. Juichi Sato, M.D. (Lecturer, Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine, Program in Integrated Medicine)

When: Monday, October 16, 2017, 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (14:00 to 15:30)

Where: Basic Medical Research Building, 1st Floor, Conference Room 2

The lecture is given in Japanese only, but this is a good opportunity to improve your Japanese!

 

The Nagoya University Medical Museum is located on the fourth floor of the Medical Library. The Museum has been digitizing its collection, making it available online as The Dawn of Modern Medical Science Digital Archive.
